A 6-night, 7-day Winter Spiti trip is a magical exploration of the snow-clad landscapes and serene beauty of the trans-Himalayan region during the winter months. Commencing in Shimla, the journey takes you through the enchanting Kinnaur Valley, showcasing snow-draped villages and frozen landscapes.

Reckong Peo and Kalpa provide picturesque views of the winter wonderland. As you traverse into Spiti, Nako and Tabo's ancient monasteries offer a serene ambiance amidst the snow-covered terrain. The main town of Kaza, adorned in pristine white, becomes a tranquil winter escape. High-altitude villages like Langza and Hikkim are blanketed in snow, offering a unique winter charm.

While journeying from Kaza to Chitkul, we will stop in Sangla to celebrate the vibrant Hoi festival, immersing in the local culture and festivities.

The trip concludes with a visit to the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake, frozen in its winter splendor. This 6-night journey promises an immersive experience of Spiti's winter magic, combining cultural exploration with the serene tranquility of the snow-covered Himalayas.

  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot.
  • Any personal expense like trip the driver, entry to monuments/monasteries, camera/video charges, laundry, telephone bills, heater etc.
  • Any kind of food & beverages that is not included in the package like Alcohol, mineral water, meals/refreshments lunch on the highway. 
  • Heater charges are extra.

Itinerary
Day 0: DEPARTURE TO KALPA VIA SHIMLA (8 MARCH)
  • The group assembles at the pick-up point by 08:00 PM. 
  • We'll meet the team captains and a small tour briefing would also be provided. 
  • After which, we’ll head out on an overnight journey to Shimla.
     
DAY 1: REACH SHIMLA-TRANSFER TO KALPA (9 MARCH)
  • ​Reach Shimla early morning between 8:00 to 9:00 am & transfer to kalpa. Visit Kinnaur gate and get some cool photographs. 
  • Reach Kalpa by evening and check into your hotels, freshen up & relax.
  • Night Briefing session for the following day.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Kalpa
     
DAY 2: KALPA EXPLORATION-KHAB-TABO (10 MARCH)
  • Early morning freshen up & get ready for the day.
  • Have breakfast and leave for Kalpa Exploration.
  • Leave for Tabo via khab Sangam.
  • Reach Tabo & check into your Hotel/Homestay.
  • Night Briefing session for the following day.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Tabo
     
DAY 3: TABO - DHANKAR - KAZA (11 MARCH)
  • Early morning freshen up & leave for kaza.
  • Visit the Tabo Monastery & Tabo caves which are 1000 year old & have meditation session.
  • Visit Dhanker Monastery which was a capital of Spiti in the past.
  • Reach Kaza, check into your homestay, dinner and overnight stay at Kaza.
  • Night Briefing session for the following day. 
     
DAY 4: HIKKIM - KOMIC - LANGZA - CHICHAM KEY MONASTERY (12 MARCH)
  • Early morning freshen up & get ready for the day.
  • Head towards visiting the Highest post office in the world & write to your loved ones. Next, visit the highest village in the world known as
  • Komic and Langza which is known to be the fossil village of India. 
  • Visit the iconic monastery known as Key Monastery.
  • Head towards the highest suspension bridge in Asia (Chicham Bridge).
  • Come back to kaza, have dinner & overnight stay at Kaza.
  • Night Briefing session for the following day. 
DAY 5: KAZA TO CHITKUL (13 MARCH)
  • Today Morning, pack your bags and leave for Chitkul.
  • Enroute we will cover Gue Monastery. 
  • Reach Chitkul and check into your hotel. Take some rest.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Chitkul.
  • Night Briefing session for the following day
     
DAY 6:  SANGLA HOLI CELEBRATION (14 MARCH)
  • Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast.
  • After breakfast we will move towards the village and enjoy the best of the festival today. 
  • Holi in Sangla is a way of inviting blessings and announcing the arrival of spring. We will join the procession, which will walk through the villages around Sangla, dancing, singing, experiencing the local way of celebrating holi, eating with the locals, and also getting a taste of the local liquor. This will be the day when the Holi energy truly kicks in. 
  • Night Briefing session for the following day. 
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Chitkul.
     
DAY 7: CHITKUL TO SHIMLA & DEPARTURE TO DELHI (15 MARCH)
  • After breakfast, we will leave from Chitkul to Shimla. 
  • On the way, we will have a look at Kinner Kailash peaks.
  • In the evening we will board a bus to Delhi.
  • Overnight bus journey from Shimla to Delhi.
  • End of Tour.
     
DAY 8: ARRIVAL IN DELHI (16 MARCH)
  • Early morning arrive in Delhi by 7:00am - 8:00 am with memories of a lifetime
